5-25-09: It's Memorial Day. We went to the Memorial Day to see the veterans and to see Emily march in the parade, along with seeing all the dogs, both in the parade and watching the parade. I got to see a 14-week-old chihuahua! LOL!

We've been busy planting our flowers and digging out a small tree, that couldn't keep living under the overhang on the garage! We kept cutting it back, but the darn maple tree was very persistent, and would keep growing back. For as little as it was, I was amazed at how securely those roots were hanging on to that tree. We had to snip those to get it out. It was way to cramped a spot, to dig it out nicely and replant it, unfortunately.

It's been so pretty around here, with everyone's flowering crabs blooming! Soon the flowers will be gone!
