Sunday Night

Wow, I actually have bread rising, up in the kitchen. Can you believe I actually had time. It's cold out, and I really didn't want to go to the store! Only now I just remembered that we are out of fruit bowls. I guess I have to go anyway. Shoot.

I couldn't find my stupid dough hook. I'm spoiled and can't possibly mix bread dough by hand, since I have a Kitchenaid mixer. I spent probably half an hour looking for the dough hook and finally found it in the drawer where the bags go. I'd sure love to know who stuck it there, coughDHcough, but I really don't know for sure. I was mad enough that the kids went to other rooms and the dog took refuge in the basement! After I found it, and stopped storming around, Emily and dog both wandered back in to find a much calmer mom. After I all this, I had to microwave the milk again, to get it warm enough! It had cooled off, during the pause to look for the dough hook.

Sometimes it's weird when something goes missing or becomes misplaced at the peak when you need it most. Then when you simply have no use for it, it's just there lying around.

Glad you found that hook. Hope your bread came out really well. I love homemade breads. My husband makes them occasionally. It's a treat when he does.
