Monday Madness 11-20-05

1. I have little or no patience when it comes to small children running around restaurants where waitresses are carrying heavy, hot dishes!
2. I wish I could spend more time at my computer.
3. The most productive thing I accomplished this past weekend was buying new canisters for my flour/sugar/brown sugar. I don't know why the old ones were falling apart. I had only had them since I started out on my own, way back in 1983! They were brown tupperware, which tells you just how long ago that was! I have new ones now that are clear, with off-white lids and a little blue claspy thing, that looks like a butterfly on top.
4. The most enjoyable thing I did this weekend was was go see Chicken Little, with my family.
5. I've always wanted to learn how to to speak another language fluently! I'm so jealous of the people in my town who can so easily flip from one language to another in the blink of an eye. My high school German doesn't get me too far!
6. If money wasn't an issue, I'd buy a new computer. Although it works fine, my Dell is 4 years old after all and Dreamweaver and Paint Shop Pro version 9, take WAY too long to open.
7. I blog because because I need to keep up with everyone else, and it's fun!

Tuesday Evening

Gas is now down to $2.26/gallon. It's been dropping fast lately! Woohoo!

We had a dark and dreary day here today! It always seemed dark in my house! Now it's raining and we could possibly get snow, that would only stick to grassy areas. Just was a raw, blustery day today. It certainly felt like November.

Tuesday Evening

It's the 8th of November and I was running around most of the day, with just a sweatshirt on, over a longsleeved shirt. I didn't need a jacket! It was wonderful! I changed my flickr badge to show all the pretty leaves we have been seeing throughout fall! Hope you enjoy it!

6. Happiness is _my dog snuggling up to me, when I'm laying in bed_.

Wednesday Evening

We went to Whispering Orchards today, to buy apples and caramel apples! My caramel apple was sooooo good. The farm-fresh apples just taste so much better than store-bought apples, especially this time of year!

We saw gas for $2.43 tonight! Woo hoo! The highest price around here post-Katrina was $3.25, although one gas station did jump up to $3.79, for just a while. I'm not sure why, since everyone else was $3.25.

We had a nice day today. Temps got up to 60. It's cooler out now, though, and very windy. It's 11/2/05 and our trees still have a lot of leaves on them. Usually our trees are pretty bare by now!
