On January 9, 2001, the Sheboygan Press said that we got 51.9 inches of snow in December 2000!  Here are some pictures we took shoveling some of that snow in late December.  The snowbanks were so high that it was hard to see cars coming when you pulled out of the driveway!  We finally had to widen out the end of the driveway to make it easier to maneuver.  Since the end of December, we have had some warmer weather so some of the snow has melted and compacted.  It has also gotten dirtier than it is in these pictures.  We are happily driving on dry pavement on the streets and our driveway!  Yay!  Although, the snowbanks take up so much space in the road, some narrow streets are even narrower!  So, driving can still be rather interesting.  We are happy to have had a reprieve from shoveling, too!
